PDP Is Fully Ready To Win Governorship Election To Rebuild Imo –Anyanwu
By Eleugu Mgbemgasa…
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the November 11, 2023 governorship election for Imo State, Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy), says the party is physically, financially, numerically and spiritually strong and prepared to contest and win the election.
He said the victory of the PDP in the guber poll will bring a turning point to the state with citizens and visitors living peacefully, safely and prosperously.
Anyanwu gave the assurance when he addressed members of the party in Owerri during a stakeholders meeting, held on Tuesday. He disclosed that the party is solidly united to reclaim the Government House to edify Imo State, make it safe again for the good and benefit of all persons.
While regretting that Imo is under siege with the ruling party celebrating suffering, hardship and insecurity debilitating the people, Anyanwu pointed out that there is vacancy in Douglas House which he added would be filled by the PDP.

“In my quietness lies my strength. Imo Government House is vacant. Jones and I are strongly ready to win the election for PDP and for the entire Imo people. It is an insult to my personality that Uzodimma and APC are sponsoring my election. It is a lie. I cannot be intimidated. The propagandists are afraid of my credentials and rising profile and popularity”, Samdaddy revealed.
Hailing the former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, for being a good party man who he stressed has made great inputs towards the growth of PDP and the development of Imo State, Anyanwu begged that he be forgiven if he had wronged any member, saying there is strength and victory in collective work.
Expressing happiness over their presentation by the party, the PDP deputy candidate, Rt. Hon. Jones Onyereri, affirmed that the party will see to the welfare and wellbeing of Imo people if they win the election.
