By Ikenna Orioha…

The SDP candidate for Ohaji/Egbema State Constituency in Imo Assembly in the 2023 general election, Hon. Engr. Stanley Onyiriuka, says the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the November 11 2023, Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy), has the capacity and competence to govern Imo State.
Onyiriuka stated this in an interview with journalists during the official Flag-Off Guber Campaign Ceremony, held in Owerri last week amidst fanfare.
Onyiriuka, who is deeply rooted in grassroot politics, having overwhelming supporters especially in Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta, said Samdaddy is competent enough to govern Imo State, saying he has been tested and trusted in leadership of the state and at the national level.
According to Onyiriuka, “the PDP governorship candidate, Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy), is a visionary leader who has done well when he was the Ikeduru LGA Chairman, Ikeduru State Constituency Member in Imo Assembly, the Senator who represented Owerri Zone in the Senate and as National Secretary of PDP. All these leadership experiences stand him out among other guber contenders and endear him to the people who cherish him dearly”.
He believes that when PDP regains power in the state, Imo State would witness tremendous socio-economic development, peace, security, comfort and conviviality.
Onyiriuka, a visionary politician, an illustrious son of Ohaji/Egbema noted that he joined the PDP with his numerous supporters because the party’s guber candidate is a good man, friendly, jovially sociable, benevolently godly and has all it takes to govern Imo State thereby strengthens development and peace.
“Samdaddy is capable of rendering good governance in Imo, to attract investment, solidify democracy, quality roads, bridges, build good markets, improve quality education, build quality hospitals, install electricity, create employment, rejuvenate the youth through digital skills, agriculture, trading, commerce, industry, tourism and employment”, Onyiriuka stated.
The great farmer added that “Samdaddy assured me that he will make Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta feel government presence, compel oil companies operating in the state to employ their youths, give them scholarships, bursaries, electricity, piper born water, build roads, as well as meet other corporate social responsibilities to their host communities to make their lives more meaningful and pleasing”.
Assuring the PDP of 100% votes in the November 11 2023 governorship election, Onyiriuka called on Imo people to come out in their numbers to vote for Samdaddy to enable him give them dividends of democracy for improved living.
