Orlu LGA Charimanship Race Gathers Momentum As Dr Simora Joins Race Amid Cheers …Dishes Out Outstanding Blueprints

The chairmanship tussel for Orlu local government area of Imo state on Friday July 2, 2024 gathered overwhelming momentum as a household name; the Architect of Modern Orlu, a renowned humanitarian and security expert, Dr Simon Ukagba (Onwa) joined the race to consolidate his examplary and transformational dreams for the people of the area.

The change of focus, direction and interest occurred when the Chief Executive Officer of Simora Securities and Simora Hotels Ltd, Dr Ukagba declared interest to run for the position under the All Progressives Congress (APC) party while highlighting his roadmap for Orlu LGA amid cheers from teeming supporters, party faithfuls in the area as well as friends and well wishers from all walks of life.

The people who were beaming with smiles however expressed confidence and utmost optimism in the person and personality of Dr Ukagba, said time has come for Orlu people to experience holistic change when he is elected.

Addressing the people on his 4-point agenda, the Architect of Modern Orlu, Dr Simora Ukagba (Onwa) stressed that he has come to check the boxes of even development in the locality so as to make the LGA an envious haven for shared prosperity, peace and investment, adding that issues of insecurity, unemployment, infrastructural decay, food insufficiency and inadequate healthcare among others will be things of the past when elected.

Dwelling on Security as his anchor point which would restore peace and harmonious business relations, the renowned security expert, Ukagba reiterated his resolve to mount 24-hours Surveillance, Motion Detection and Night Vision Cameras at every nook and cranny of the locality, especially Orlu local government Secretariat, Orlu Police station, Department of State Security, DSS Headquarters, Owerri for close monitoring and rapid response, noting that “Orlu will be free from crime and panic and people will be free to go about their legitimate businesses again”

“I have been involved in integrated security for the past 25 years that’s why when people say think security; you think Simora: the only name that gives an aura of confidence.

“It is no longer news that Orlu is deserted and our Amiable Governor has done his best to fight insecurity to the barest minimum but what is remaining is something that will bring public confidence hence I have the latest Technology that is cheap and cost effective called Simora Vision 425 from Japan and I’m the only one that has this Technology in Nigeria”

He assured the people of creating lasting employment through skills acquisition as well as ensuring food security and sufficient food circulation across the locality; as he mapped out systematic plans to reinvigorate Mgbe Piggry farms among others which will also in turn engage the youths meaningfully.

“I will give Orlu what I have through wealth Creation, frugal prudential and financial management. I have managed men resources…I am a creator of wealth and employer of Labour and have been running successful businesses and still run successful businesses

“If I assume the chairmanship of Orlu, the first thing I will do is to distribute ‘highly on demand’ farm seedlings to every family in Orlu during the rainy season and every Primary and Secondary school must have at least 40 Agric fruits per rainy season. During the dry season, Orlu water tanker will go round and water all these fruits so that in the next 5years Orlu will be the food basket of the Nigeria”

The Architect of Modern Orlu, while harping on the economic significance of Tourism, urged Orlu people to think home while establishing their businesses as charity begins at home hence the prime reason he sited his businesses across the locality to give back to the society through employment and other humanitarian gestures.

He added that he will build up the Orlu Memorial Museum to gain more attraction, noting that he got some of the notable possessions of Igbo heros and legends having acquired Private Museum operational license hence he would create more tourist attractions including water falls, city beautification and flowering, adding that “Orlu will be the nearest city in Nigeria”

The Orlu LGA Charimanship hopeful who decried the moribund standard of healthcare in the area equally assured the people of his unreserved dedication to ensure adequate healthcare delivery, adding that “healthcare will not only be accessible to all but affordable at subsidized rate and free of charge through ‘Means Expense System’ to ascertain who is qualified to receive it free of charge”: adding that he will also live up to all expectations as regards infrastructural development to ensure “one year, one road project”

“My coming out is by Divine Providence. I may not have the so-called structure and what have you but I have the will and large heart to fulfill my promises.

“I have all it takes to take Orlu to the great heights of our collective dreams and I am here to serve you because I am desirous for change”

Cheering the dogged Chairmanship aspirant whom he described as a trustworthy fellow, the Chief Executive Officer of Valentino Da Vinci, Chief Valentino C. Ugbala (Ikuku-Oma) said Dr Simora Ukagba is the most qualified in the race, noting that he has all it takes to lead the LGA as regards uncommon integrity to fulfill all his promises.

Chief Ugbala however assured the people of his resolve to relocate his company home in the interest of the aspirant who he described as a “Man of his Words”.

Adding his voice, an APC Party Chieftain from Amaifeke Orlu, Hon Tigana Okolie called on the people of the locality to vote in Dr Simora Ukagba for integrity Accountability, Transparency, capacity and all round development, noting that the aspirant is a go-getter.
