Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Fed. Constituency:
Coast clears for Ngozi RBK Okafor’s emergence
…as irregularities mar rerun election
…APC should field Ngozi’s name or risk losing to PDP
By Stanley Okehie…
Obviously pained by the fraud that usually trails elections in Nigeria, the House of Representatives hopeful for Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West federal constituency, Ngozi RBK Okafor has decried the irregularities that marred the rerun election for the federal constituency as ordered by the Appeal Court.
Ngozi Okafor who is contesting on the platform of All Progressives Congress had approached the court to challenge the alleged victory of one Eugene Dibiagwu as the party’s standard bearer.
The court had seen merit in her case and ruled in her favour, ordering INEC to conduct a rerun within 20 days.
However, the rerun election, according to sources, was also marred by so many irregularities as supporters of Ngozi RBK Okafor waited patiently to cast their votes to no avail.
Surprisingly, Eugene Dibiagwu was again, declared winner in an election, sources said, didn’t hold just like the first one.

This development has prompted Ngozi Okafor to approach the court again, this time, to challenge the eligibility of Eugene Dibiagwu to contest the election in the first instance.
Armed with glaring evidence, RBK Okafor is hoping for the best, which is for the court to disqualify Dibiagwu and the party field her as its candidate.
