Ohaji/Egbema Lawmaker Receives Meritorious Service Award from Rotary Club of Owerri …Promises to partner club in empowering indigent widows

In recognition of his selfless and sterling services to humanity, the Rotary Club of Owerri, has bestowed an Excellent Service Award on the Member who represents Ohaji/ Egbema State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Dr. Francis Uzoma Osuoha (Eze Buguma).


The Meritorious Award came during the official Installation Ceremony of Rtn. Ifunanya Macaulay- Onwusoro as the 47th President of Rotary Club of Owerri, held at The Place Event Centre, Owerri, last week.
Bestowing the Award, the Rotarians said the awardee merited being recognized over his effective representation and contributions to the advancement of Imo State through legislation and the empowerment of indigent persons especially poor widows in his Constituency and across board.
They appealed to Eze Buguma to continue to work for the good of humanity and the community to help in lifting people positively so that indigency which they pointed out give room to crime, violence and insecurity could reduce even minimally.

Reacting, Eze Buguma thanked the Rotary Club of Owerri for finding him worthy of the award.
The sound lawmaker who has been in the vanguard of rendering financial assistance to indigent persons, assured that he would partner with Rotary Club of Owerri to strengthen the empowerment of indigent widows.
“In support of the Excellent Award, my humanitarian foundation will partner with the Rotary Club of Owerri in the empowerment of indigent widows. I thank you immensely for finding me worthy of the Honour which will always motivate me to intensify benevolence and good leadership”, the Legislator maintained.
Eze Buguma who honorably saluted one of the foremost political arrowheads in Ohaji/ Egbema, Rt. Hon. Goodluck Nana Opia and the Executive Chairman of Ohaji/Egbema, Prince Marcel Amadioha, over their meritorious accolades by the Rotary Club of Owerri, equally appreciated those who accompanied him to receive the Award.
