Nigeria Diaspora Forum Calls FG to Investigate Extrajudicial Killing of Nigerian by South African Police
The Nigerian Diaspora Forum (NDF) expresses its sadness over the manslaughter of Nigerian in Danielskuil, Northern Cape South Africa on 17th May 2024 by the Police.

According to shocking reports available to NDF, a 43 year old Nigerian, Prince Ebuka, was extrajudicially killed by South African Police in the guise of fighting criminal elements in the Country whereas their actions pointed different directions.
Over time, there have been disturbing experience of police abuse on Nigerians abroad especially in the Northern Cape in recent times where people suffer the fate they never bargained foe just because they are foreigners.
Reacting to the ugly development, the Country Director,
Nigeria Diaspora Forum, NDF (Abuja), Hon. Chibuike Amadichi charged Nigerians abroad to always be their brother’s keepers so as to give first hand, and well backgrounded information to the Forum so as to serve their interests better.
“Since March, there have been similar cases in Kimberley involving drug accusations and police violence. Another Nigerian, Chika Anuino, was killed by police in Springs, Johannesburg, on April 25,” reports revealed.
According to reports from Ebuka’s wife, Joyce, indicated that law enforcement officers stormed their home, forcing her to evacuate to protect their young child from the violence. Ebuka was then assaulted and pressured to produce drugs allegedly in his possession. When nothing was found, the officers took him to a waste dump, accusing him of hiding illegal substances there”
“We urge the public to stay informed as we closely follow developments and cooperate with the authorities to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation”
“Our commitment remains strong towards advocating for justice and upholding human rights for all Nigerian living in the diaspora”
