YPP State Woman Leader Urges Residents to Stay Home to Prevent Coronavirus

As the globally infectious disease, Conoravirus multiplies, the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Imo State Woman Leader, Ambassador Chika Uju, has urged residents of Imo State to stay at home until the virus reduces or stops permanently to prevent it.

While describing the Coronavirus as calamitous and devastating, Uju regretted that the virus is real even though no case has been recorded in Imo State.

In an interview with our reporter in Owerri on Saturday, the Woman Journalist and Politician, said prevention is better than cure, reminding them of the need to wash their hands properly with soap or sterilizer and keeping social distance as even directed by health workers or medical experts.

“It will be nice and encouraging for me to address our people mostly women and children including youths to always be mindful of their activities at this trying period of Coronavirus which is eating up more people all over the world. Keeping safe by staying indoors is sinequanon to preventing the deadly scourge.

“To be out of such calamities, I, as an activist, social crusader and mother, who has passion for the safety and health of humanity, urged all including my own family members to stay indoors for Corinavirus is real”, Uju said.

She prayed to God to have mercy on mankind so that the killer virus stops sooner than later, just as she called on mankind to run to God for help, while hailing government for making effort to prevent Conoravirus in Imo State.
