Leave Sentiments, Support Gov Ihedioha to Deliver Imo -Comrade Uzoma Obijuru

A renowned political scientist and student leader in Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Comrade Uzoma Obijuru has urged Imolites to keep hope alive and give their support for the new administration to enable it deliver on its promises in the wake of criticisms and high expectations from the Rebuild Imo Administration led by Governor Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Imo State.

Comrade Uzoma stated this in a post he made public on his social media accounts and a followup call with News Corner correspondent recently.

The Student leader and Senator Representing Mass Communication department in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Student Representative Council of the Institution stressed that the time is too early to judge the current government that is yet to clock hundred(100) days in office.

He described Governor Ihedioha as a God Sent who has come to rebuild the state and wipe the tears of Imolites, adding that “when a man is been positioned by God to pilot an affair or take up a responsibility, He gives him all the necessary tools to handle such responsibility.”

“Tools in this context refers to Emeka Ihedioha’s wisdom, strength, perseverance, excellent spirit, ideas to be creative in all he does, humbleness to relate with every one irrespective of political, social, economical and religious status and to crown it all, God will also clothe him with his glory to outshine mediocres of all kinds”, Uzoma stated.

Speaking further, the Senator expressed happiness that Governor Ihedioha won the Imo Guber election due to his love and perseverance as well as the love and mandate of Imo people.

In his words, “Destiny can only be delayed but you cannot rob one’s destiny. In 2015 election, his destiny was delayed by some miscreants but come 2019 same personalities tried to manipulate his destiny but God who knows the beginning and end who has known him when he was still in her mother’s belly stood over the challenge and showed that His supremacy supersedes the affairs of men.”

“Miscreants are everywhere with their criticism headlamps brightly switched on looking for slight mistakes from whom God has lifted But fail to take cognizance of what the Bible says that I WILL BLESS THEM THAT BLESS ISRAEL AND I WILL CURSE THEM THAT CURSE ISRAEL.”

“Many are incubating in their mind that the Governor is from Mbaise and as such will use ‘a so called Mbaise brain’ to man the affairs of the state. If I may ask, which brain did the previous administration use to govern Imo?”, Senator Uzoma asked curiously.

He stated that the Governor will definitely disprove the claims of the opposition that his administration will not deliver in the state with calculated actions and verifiable projects, noting that Governor has started well that ” appointment are been given to qualified persons with full entitlements attached to the positions with out making them ceremonial appointees. Make your findings on those that served the past administration; they are struggling to eat, pay their bills and settle other things because they were only appointed ceremonially.”

“For those thinking that I am related to Governor Ihedioha or from Mbaise, I’m from Ohaji. My constituency has no electricity for the past eight years but had during Ex-Governor Ohakim’s administration, and series of letters written to the Power Holding Company proved abortive as they usually refer us to the government. We don’t have good road network but even at that, let’s align with the DAVID of Imo State that defeated the Goliath that brought reproach to Imolites.”
