Journalist, Class of 94 FGC Kaduna donate Palliatives to Imo Journalists

A renowned female journalist in Imo state and the Vice Chairman of National Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ Imo state Chapter, Comrade Dorothy Nnaji in collaboration with her friends, Class of 1994 Federal Government College Kaduna, last week Saturday, being June 6th 2020 donated post COVID 19 palliative materials to the members of Nigeria Union of Journalists,NUJ Imo state Council.
Presenting One hundred cartons of Mr Pasta Chicken instant Noodles and ten cartons of Tasty Tom sachet tomatoes to the Imo state NUJ Chairman, Comrade Chris Akaraonye at the Press Centre along Portharcourt Road, Comrade Dorothy Nnaji said that the gesture was a collaboration between her and her friends at the Federal Government College Kaduna to support Imo Journalists to cushion the effects of post COVID 19, pointing out that Journalists deserve more palliative materials considering their efforts in the fight against Corona virus in Nigeria.
Nnaji however appealed to Imo NUJ leadership to manage the palliative materials and share the materials with love, adding that she will continue to attract more palliative materials to the Union no matter how little.
In his speech while receiving the palliative materials, Comrade Chris Akaraonye flanked by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Comrade Emmanuel Odibo and other executive members, expressed profound gratitude to Comrade Dorothy Nnaji and her friends, Class 94 of Federal Government College Kaduna for providing palliative materials to Imo journalists and asked God to bless them abundantly.
Akaraonye who assured Comrade Dorothy Nnaji that the palliative materials will be shared judiciously to every member of Imo NUJ through their chapels, however appealed to other well meaning Nigerians to support Journalists to carry out their constitutional responsibility to the society.
