Mourinho’s mistrust of the class of ’92 stretches back to when he took the job.
(Ed) Woodward was keen to keep Ryan Giggs on, but Mourinho vetoed the idea because he did not think the Welshman was a man he could trust because of his extra-marital affair with his brother’s wife.

Graeme Souness on Ryan Giggs
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has today been appointed as the new Man United interim manager.
Solskjaer will remain in charge at Old Trafford until the end of the season.

If not Giggs, Souness wanted Roy Keane to get the job instead.
