IWD 2023: Amb Uju Felicitates Nigerian Women, Describes Them As Bedrock Of Society

A dogged woman leader, journalist and astute administrator, Ambassador Chika Uju has felicitated with Nigerian Women as women world over mark 2023 International Women’s Day, IWD on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
Ambassador Uju stated that women ought be celebrated always they remain the bedrock of every home.
She added that women are very courageous to face any challenge head-on in any course they believe in.

Harping on the theme of the day #EmbraceEquity, the renowned journalist stressed that women are positive game changers who are not only caring in all things but goal and result oriented hence they should be respected, given audience, equal opportunity to education, appointment, employment, to eliminate gender discrimination, intimidation and inequality.

Ambassador Uju however called on women to live up to expectations in the families noting that it is the duty of women to look after their children, manage their homes, help their husband to build their home and businesses among others.

She also advised women to always avoid domestic violence at all cost.
