Akagburuonye commissions NUJ borehole, Sept 11

All is set for the commissioning of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, borehole on Wednesday.
The borehole which was powered and sunk singlehandedly by a philanthropist, community development magnet and President of Hope Rising For Imolites, Barr. Chief Success Obioma Akagburuonye has eased up and addressed the issue of water supply in the NUJ press center.
In a release signed by the Chairman and Secretary of NUJ, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma JP and Comrade Mrs Treasure Ihechi-Nnamah respectively “The commissioning of the borehole will be done by the donor himself in the company with the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Declan Emelumba and other top government officials, captains of industry and friends of Journalists”.
The NUJ Chairman, Imo State Council, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma, JP under whose leadership the feat is achieved through his emulative relational skills and unlimited reach-out, has lauded the donor, Akagburuonye for his love, passion and interest in ensuring that the lack of water in the council is being addressed.
Nwanguma pointed out that such gesture, made available by Akagburuonye, has brought in relief to the journalists. “We are not taking such humanitarian support for granted as Akagburuonye has endeared himself to the Union by this unreserved show of love”.
“Tellingly, the NUJ leadership invites all journalists to be part of this epoch making ceremony that has come into the archive of the Union as one of the greatest moments of history being recorded under Ifeanyi Nwanguma administration”.
