Isiala Mbano State Constituency And The Call For Sam Osuji
BY UGOCHUKWU IWUJI…
A remarkable thing is about happening in Isiala Mbano as Chief Sam Osuji, a consummate community leader, lawyer and former Sole Administrator answers the clarion call of his people to represent them at the State House of Assembly.
Chief Osuji, a former Special Adviser to the governor is answering the call of the people at a time there is a collective consensus for a strong voice for the people of Isiala Mbano at the State Legislature. Ohazurumee, as he is fondly called, seeks the mandate of the people on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress. It is noteworthy that Ohazurumee has an edge over those who want to contend with him due to his noble antecedents, age, experience and passion for community service.
In his short but remarkable tenure as Sole Administrator, the effervescent Ohazurumee constructed and rehabilitated so many rural roads, thereby opening up the rural communities for business. He was so passionate about his mandate that he even worked on Sundays after mass.
People were baffled at the unusual passion of Ohazurumee to duties hence they wondered if he was having a special allocation. Truth, however, is that a vintage Chief Sam Osuji, is a firm believer in the dignity of service for his people. He does not mind expending personal resources in a task so long it concerns his people.
Similarly, Ohazurumee has age and experience as a selling point. He has practically seen it all. He will not be given to the exuberance associated with the youths when taking decisions. He is vast and knowledgeable in what he is coming to do. He is characteristically stable and charismatic. He is also a suave personality who can effectively serve as a dependable bridge.
His accessibility is not in doubt – the rich and the poor, old and young do have access to him. He does not get power and become elusive over night. His rich experiences will come into play as he navigates the legislative route.
Ohazurumee’s greatest selling point, perhaps, is his passion to serve the people. Having associated with him, I admire his consistency in attending to the needs of his people. He practically looks out for opportunities to make a case for his people. He is also very selfless as he hardly says no to the deluge of requests from his people even when events prove inconvenient.

The burden of responsibility is now on the good people of Isiala Mbano to ensure that this worthy son of Mbaama, Chief Sam Ikechukwu Osuji, is massively elected into the House come March 18, 2023.
He has never disappointed his people throughout the years he was in government. He has promised to be a credible voice for the people. He has also created avenues for the people to hold him accountable. It is good that Ohazurumee has scheduled to periodically interface with the people so as to feel their pulse at any given time. He has also planned massive empowerment for rural women and youths.
Essentially, he has vowed that qualified indigent students will be on scholarship up to the university level. Above all, Ohazurumee has declared that government would be nearer to his people because he would never allow any opportunity to slip past his people.
