The Imo Newspaper Publishers Association (INPA) is set to commemorate its 14th anniversary and launch its N200 million Media Resource Centre.
The event will take place at the Rockview Hotel main hall in Government House Station Layout, Owerri, on November 27, 2025, marking the culmination of the association’s week-long inaugural 2025 Week celebrations.

The week’s activities will commence with a radio talk show on November 24, followed by an awareness campaign on November 26.
Additional events will include the presentation of awards to ten distinguished Nigerians, visits to hospitals to pay for hospital bills of less privileged persons and a Thanksgiving Service at Maria Assumpta Catholic Church, Owerri, on November 30.
INPA Chairman, Chief Declan Anaele, expressed the association’s commitment to giving back to the community during the week.

He also extended gratitude to companies, associations, political figures, and industry leaders who have supported the association’s members.
The Publisher of Eastern Lead Express Newspaper urged the Imo people to continue their support, emphasizing that publishers contribute significantly to society by providing employment opportunities and helping to mitigate crime.
