“Inhuman” by Nwosu Prayerlife, a Expository Poem To Fair Hearing

In view of civilization, goodwill and love for all, fast rising poet, Prayerlife Nwosu writes to the general public on the need to eshew all manner of hatred, violence as well as lawlessness and encourage fair hearing to all around us.

The poet harped on justice for all, no matter how highly and lowly placed and affected, noting that justice for one equals justice for all and vice versa.

INHUMAN

There lies a helpless victim
Screaming over countless blows from his fellows
Surrounded by a group of angry mob
Having no chance of a narrow escape

He pleads for a drop of crawling sympathy
To be heard and left for the law
He beacons on barbaric heart of louts
The only language they hear is “burn”

With no proper investigation of his crime
They take laws into their hands of guilt
They leave under the same roof of their victim
Sometimes lives of the innocent are taken

Men who carry their hearts like a backpack
They drop them anywhere to take action
Darkness rules over their sense of thought
Peace is derived as they watch him burn

Jungle justice, a yardstick to wickedness
Say no to inhuman activities of the present
Even the guilty deserves a fair hearing.

Background is no barrier to a Child’s Future — Rochas Okorocha

He said, “Here, we try to make these children believe that their background will not stop them from becoming what they want to be. So we train them to walk with pride and tall because their future is secured. Here we transform them to be leaders that can believe in themselves”.

  1. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
