Breaking: Arimanwa Wins Best Rector Award For A Record Five Times
The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Engr. Dr. Michael Chidiebere Arimanwa, has won the Best Rector award nationwide, according to an empirical survey carried out by an international rating organization, Black Heritage Award Project.

This feat is a record breaking one as it is the fifth time Dr. Arimanwa would be found worthy of the award by different reputable organizations.
The Black Heritage Award Project surveys virtually all sectors of the economy across the country, in a bid to reward excellence. In the education sector, there are categories for the best Vice Chancellor and Rector, respectively.
While Prof Nyaudoh Ndaeyo of the University of Uyo won the best Vice Chancellor award, the best Rector award went to Engr. Dr. Michael Arimanwa of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede.

The Black Heritage Award Project, a reputable organization based in the United Kingdom has identified the profound multisectoral strides of Rector Arimanwa which are considered uncommon and outstanding.
These achievements, whether in infrastructure, research and innovation, environment, curriculum expansion, health, human capital or digital revolution are all consistent with the Rector’s historic document encapsulating his 14 major goals and 72 targets for the polytechnic.
Observers have noted that this fifth record-breaking award as Best Rector has shown that the outstanding works of Arimanwa are monumental legacies bespeaking excellence.
They also observe that the awards which are from reputable bodies are dispassionate testaments of the consistency of the Rector in making a difference in the education sector.
Again, they commend the Rector for being resilient amid all odds to win the award a record five times in his five year tenure, adding that the feat is not only uncommon but symbolic.
