NANS Felicitates With Prof Alloy Onyeka On His Elevation As VC Of Alvan Ikoku Federal University Of Education Owerri

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Imo State Chapter, has felicitated with Prof. Alloy Onyeka on his elevation as Vice Chancellor of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education Owerri.

NANS said they are filled with deep happiness and profound gratitude over the appointment of the phenomenal academic.
In a release signed and made available to press men in Owerri on Wednesday, Chairman, NANS Stakeholders, Imo State Chapter, Comrade Chukwuemeka Chikere, said Professor Alloy Onyeka deserves the appointment.

Chikere pointed out that Prof Alloy Onyeka is an academic giant who has contributed significantly to the advancement of quality and standard education in Imo State, saying his academic excellence and prowess endeared his glorious appointment as Vice Chancellor of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education Owerri.
Chikere added that Prof Alloy Onyeka elevation as the head of the prestigious institution of learning is in order as he is going to exemplify good leadership, commitment and patriotism to strengthen the growth and forwardness of the school for enhanced academics, excellence for even development of the society.
Prof Alloy Onyeka is a worthy son of Okporo in Orlu LGA of Imo State who they maintained is an erudite scholar, a renouned Professor of Statistics with specialty in Statistical Computing and Sample Surveys.
“NANS, Imo State, is very glad and grateful to the Federal Government for appointing Prof Alloy Onyeka as Vice Chancellor of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education Owerri.
“It is an appointment well deserved as he has distinguished himself in the service of humanity, universities and the state. He was Director of ICT in FUTO and former Deputy Vice Chancellor of Kingsley Ozurumba Mbadiwe University, Ogboko in Ideato South LGA, Imo State, where he dimistified academics and impacted great knowledge in the students and staff”, the NANS leader affirmed.
The NANS leader thus assured Prof Alloy Onyeka of the unalloyed support and solidarity of Imo State students as he pilots the affairs of the University.
