INEC Deploys 14 newly-appointed Resident Electoral Commissioners to States.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved the deployment of the 14 newly-appointed resident electoral Commissioners (RECS) to Selected States.

A release signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Augusta Ogakwu says Professor Francis Ezeonu is the new President Electoral Commissioner for Imo State, Dr. Joseph – Iloh; Abia State, Dr. Nkwachukwu Orgi; Anambra State while Professor Godswill Obioma was posted to Ebonyi


Others are Obo Effanga who was posted to Edo State, Dr. Briyi Frankland; Cross River State and Barrister Agboke Olaleke; Ondo State.

Similarly, Professor James Apam was posted to Kogi State, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda; Benue State. Hussaini Pai; Plateau State, Umar Ibrahim is for Gombe State, Ahmed Makama; Taraba State while Ibrahim Abdullahi was posted to Bauchi State.

The release says the postings take immediate effect.
