Imo West Senatorial District: Njaba Obidiently Stands Still For Labour Party And Chief Charles Ahize’s Orlu Recovery Team, As Ward Coordinators Are Inaugurated And Charged To Be Foot-Soldiers Of His Campaign Council In Their Communities
- Njoku Macdonald Obinna…
Njaba LGA, Imo State.
The sweeping wave of solidarity, expressed show of love, unflinching support and unalloyed loyalty that greeted the political triumphant entry of the candidate of Labour Party for Imo West Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections, Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, is better experienced than told; as the frontline Orlu senatorial candidate, Chief Ahize, alongside the retinue of his colorful and mesmerized entourage arrived the popular Umuaka Town Hall in Njaba LGA, for the inauguration of ward coordinators and booth leaders of his campaign organisation.
The political outing which almost shut down economic activities around the Umaka Unity shopping mall and its environs witnessed massive attendance to the degree that even passers -by; hawkers, okada riders, petty traders, etc, joined the political rally at the display of the placards of presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, senatorial candidate of Labour Party in Orlu zone, Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize, Labour Party candidate for Njaba State Constituency, Engr. Macdonald Nnamdi Dire, to be chanting New Nigeria political songs!

From the foregoing, therefore, one doesn’t need a soothsayer to be told that the 2023 general elections will be full of surprises as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has mismanaged the affairs of the country; while the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) which once led the country and held it at ransom may not politically breathe well as Nigerians despite their differences in tongues; tribes, religion, ethnicity and political divides are earnestly craving for new leadership direction which they have confidently found in Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, who is poised to changing the ugly narratives and setting the country on the path of political emancipation, a re- orientation of economic recovery from consumption to production.
However, the highly impressive event attracted state and zonal leaders of Labour Party, LGA party officers , critical stakeholders, ward leaders, the youths, different support groups, LGA coordinators of Charles Ahize Campaign Organisation, Association of Njaba Okada Riders, Association of Elected Njaba Councilors, market women and APC members who had recently joined the Obi-dient Movement in the LGA all for the New Nigeria Project under Peter Obi and Orlu Recovery Project led by Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize.

Chief Dr. Batos Chikezie Nwadike, a Charted Political Strategist with the Charles Ahize Campaign Council; who until recently resigned his appointment as Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Imo State governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, set the wheels of the progress of the event in motion as he pragmatically and authoritatively told his audience not to look elsewhere for a more qualified candidate, well prepared, highly connected, committed, and dispassionately ready to recover Orlu zone from doldrums except Chief Charles Ahize, who is poised to using his powerful contacts in Nigeria, strong alliance and long lasting relationship of over 20 years with Mr. Peter Obi to develop Orlu zone.
Oyi of Igboland, while saluting the leadership tenacity of the LGA party officers and ward coordinators in their avowed commitment to deliver Chief Charles Ahize for Orlu Senate in the 2023 general elections, however , made boost to say that Chief Ahize is the best candidate for Imo West Senatorial District at a time like this, describing him as; ” A good product that sells itself.”

Introducing the man of the moment, Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize, Dr. C.C. Ubah, Director General of Charles Ahize Campaign Organisation, presented an unusual character and candidate in many aspects. A quiet achiever that prefers to silently walk his talk instead of hugging media limelight and dancing at every invited and uninvited function. A man who is stealthily building formidable political structures of the Labour Party across the 12 LGAs in Orlu zone without a clap trap; accessible, jovial, friendly, accommodating: mentally, physically and spiritually fit.
While Labour Party as a mass movement known for not giving shi-shi; Chief Charles Ahize, an established entrepreneur and billionaire businessman with large contacts, has been playing a huge supportive role in financing the party both in Imo State and Orlu zone. Charley Akpuruka is urbane, debonair, humorous and driven by desire to change the leadership and representation narrative of Imo West Senatorial District; as political pundits and keen observers of Imo West politics have described him as the biggest surprise of the Third Force in the Orlu senatorial zone ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Taking over the stage after introduction, a highly cerebral and motivated frontline Orlu senatorial hopeful, Chief Charles Ahize, presented an electrified message of recovery and of restoration of Orlu zone back to her glorious era; the golden era where our rich oil deposit, resources and job slots would be used to develop the zone and Imo rather than being sold out for selfish gains and personal aggrandizement. He reiterated that under his watch as Orlu Senator, the youths would be productively engaged and practically empowered rather than roaming the streets aimlessly after graduation.

Chief Ahize maintained that if elected by the grace of God, he would use his personal relationship with His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi in the New Nigeria Administration to attract federal government presence and facilitate constituency projects across the 12 LGAs in Orlu zone.
Lampooning the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for ruining the very foundation of Nigeria’s economic recovery in the last 24 years or so, Charles Ahize regretted that the two failed political parties are still asking for people’s votes and supports because they have no shame and conscience.
An obviously elated Chief Charles Ahize urged Njaba people to sustain the tempo of their massive support for Labour Party and all its candidates by remaining steadfast and vote them into power for a bright and prosperous future. He however, regretted that the oil allocations given to oil producing states from the federation account every month are not being accounted for or are diverted to other personal frivolities , promising to be part of the resounding voices in the 10th National Assembly that will change this ugly tide that has been playing out over the decades.
Provoked by the spate of insecurity in some parts of Orlu zone and its attendant collapse of economic activities, Chief Charles Ahize advocated for a synergy between his office, security operatives and president -generals of the various autonomous communities in Orlu to critically look into the remote cause of the challenge and find sustainable approach to addressing the menace which has scared people away from coming back home with their families.
Advising Njaba people to ignore the bogus claim of voting for ranking , the Orlu senatorial hopeful, Chief Ahize, maintained that the Northerners wouldn’t allow an Igbo man to be Senate President under a failed political party like the All Progressives Congress (APC), charging them to support Labour Party and its senatorial candidate, Peter Obi, for the much desired New Nigeria while voting him with the mandate of recovering Orlu zone for Orlu people and future of their children.
A rather vocal and accessible Chief Charles Ahize promised to personally use his good office to intervene in any community -related land matter which is misappropriated by either the government or individuals using state power and brute force to grab, insisting that he wants to be the people’s -Senator and not just for the rich and political class.
Meanwhile, the massive support and chanted campaign victory songs by the LGA women and different support groups who rolled their drums to sing and dance for Chief Charles Ahize is a strong pointer that the 2023 general elections shall tilt towards Peter Obi, Labour Party and its candidates. Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize is the new political bride of Orlu senatorial zone.
