Imo Police Warns against Illegal Groups in the State.
The State Police Command says intelligence reports available to it has revealed that a group belonging to an illegal confraternity will carry out its anniversary between seventh and nineth of this month around the State in celebration of its callous confraternity.

The information further revealed that the celebration is likely to involve shootings, robberies and other violent activities capable of putting fears in to the public.
The Police Command States that it has therefore strategized a tactically coordinated operation to frontally deal decisively with the illegal group with a view to arresting the perpetrators.
A release by the Command reveals that the operation which is being coordinated by the State Commissioner of Police has deployed heavily armed Police operatives around the State to firmly provide security and ensure the safety of citizens.
The release urges parents and guardians to warn their children/wards to desist from any act that will bring them in confrontation with the law.
It advises the law abiding public to go about their lawful businesses without fear of any molestation as the Police is working to ensure the safety and security of life and property.
