Heartland Football Club, a Brand in the Committee of Football Clubs in Nigeria
The unequalled level of acceptability, love and follwership the Imo darling team- Heartland Football Club of Owerri commands in recent times has been stressed.
The special Assistant to the state governor on Lagos Liason Miss Rosemary Okeke stated this while receiving the Chairman of Heartland Football Club Chief Goodfaith Etuemena who called on her at the Imo Liason Office Victoria Island Lagos.
Miss Okeke said Heartland Football Club is a brand in the committee of football clubs in Nigeria, adding that the club’s exploits recently particularly its immediate return to the top flight league in the country has placed Imo in the world view.
She said the unique innovation brought into the team by Chief Etuemena has placed the Imo darling team above it’s contemplaries adding that the state now enjoy Goodwill, respect and recognition of Nigerians when the name Heartland FC is mentioned and urged Chief Etuemena to sustain the tempo.
Chief Goodfaith disclosed that he was at the Imo Liason Office lagos to congratulate her on her appointment as SA to the governor and appreciate her for her support for the only state football team as well as intimate her of the club’s arrival to Lagos air lifted by Imo air operated by Dana who are the Clubs partners assisting them to all their match venues located to the area they operate.
Chief Etuemena said Heartland is in Lagos to engage Mountain of fire Ministries in the NPFL matchday 12 clash at the Agege stadium Lagos.
He commended her for the warm reception accorded him, Miss Okeke used the forum to announce that her office will assist the team with vehicles to help ease their transportation difficulty before,during and after the teams Match in Lagos and pray the team emerge victorious in the game on Sunday.
Chief Etuemena used the opportunity to unviell Miss Okeke as a VIP supporter of the club with the Club’s 2018 wetless Jersey.


Accompaning the Chairman to the visit was Heartland’s Coordinator Mr Tony Okoro.
