Imo E-hailing Association Elect New Leaders …As Maduike Emerge President

Imo E-hailing Association (IEA); one of the leaders in e-hailing business in Owerri on Monday, June 12, 2023 conducted her election amid joy and jubilations.
The long-awaited election which took place at Government College Owerri had IEA members trooped out en masse to exercise their franchise.

The anxiety earlier expressed by the members to change the leadership of the association was calmed by the adjudged general, peaceful, free and fair conduct of the election which accommodated IEA diaspora members in the voting process.

Offices of the President, Vice President, Secretary General, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Welfare Chairman, Provost among others were keenly contested among qualified and dedicated members of the Association.

Addressing news men after his declaration, the newly elected President of the Association, Comrade Kennedy Maduike stressed that his administration is poised to usher a new dawn in IEA; describing the election as a free, fair and credible process while commending the electoral officials for a job well done.
Comrade Maduike promised to tackle the security challenges of all IEA members and as well ensure their overall welfare, adding that his administration would provide Identity Cards for all bonafide members to give them a sense of belonging at all times.

He however noted that the Association under his watch “will open a welfare pulse” to serve as insurance to IEA bonafide members in times of car crashes among other challenges, adding that the public shall experience the best customer relation in terms of cost-friendly fares and luxury service.
