Mpam Community elects Odom, 12 others …As new exco promises to deliver on peace, unity, infrastructural development ||| NEWS CORNER
The people of Mpam Community, Ekwereazu clan in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, have elected new leadership for Mpam Progressive Union, with Hon. Anthony Ikechukwu Odom from Umuegwu Mpam as President General.
In a release signed by Chief Hyginus Chukwuemeka, Publicity Secretary of MPU, the new leadership promised to pursue unity, peace, infrastructural/economic development, education/ healthcare, youth/women empowerment and cultural Preservation.
Chief Odom urged Mpam people to support his leadership, assuring that they will be open and accountable to the people.
“As we step into this new era of leadership, we urge all sons and daughters of Mpam, both at home and in the diaspora, to rally behind this administration. Together, we can transform Mpam Autonomous Community into a model of progress, unity, and prosperity.
“Your support, ideas, and contributions will be critical as we strive to implement impactful projects and initiatives that will benefit every member of our community. Let us join hands to build a future that generations to come will cherish”, the release states.
Others elected alongside Chief Odom are; Mr. Lucian Odom – Vice President General (Umuohuo Mpam), Mr. Nicholas Uka – Secretary General (Umuaju Mpam), Mr. Donatus Odinma – Assistant Secretary General (Okponkume Mpam), Mr. John Ugwulege – Treasurer (Okponkume Mpam), Mr. Chukwuma Oforegbu – Financial Secretary (Umuohuo Mpam), Chief Hyginus Chukwuemeka – Publicity Secretary (Umuegwu Mpam), Sir Bede Obasi – Circular Bearer (Umuohuo Mpam), Mr. Victor Ugoh – Circular Bearer (Umuegwu Mpam), Mr. Ebuka Iwunze – Chief Provost (Umuaju Mpam), Mr. Buchi Njoku – Circular Bearer (Okponkume Mpam), Mr. Obasi Abraham – Welfare Officer (Umuaju Mpam) and Barr. Augustine Chilaka – Legal Adviser (Umuohuo Mpam).
