Imo DGov, Eze Madumere resumes work after impeachment 

The Imo State Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere today resumed duties as the number two citizen of Imo State after the state high court sitting in OWERRI Yesterday set aside his impeachment.

Addressing the staff in his office Prince Madumere extolled the judiciary for its upright judgment.

He stated “I salute the good people of Imo State who stayed with me in this time of challenges and that today to God be the glory as the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been defended” I’m back to office and have resumed my official duties as the Deputy Governor of Imo State”.

Surprisingly the Deputy Governor reiterated his firm support and loyalty to Owelle Rochas Okorocha whom he has had a sore relationship with.

“Governor Rochas Okorocha is my Boss and will always remain the boss as long as I’m the Deputy Governor of Imo State;I don’t have grudges against anybody and those who orchestrated the impeachment against me I have forgiven you, I am a Child of God”.

He further stated “What is important is to demonstrate to Imo People that we’re here to serve them. I am very focused in my ambition to be the Governor of Imo State Come 2019”
