Charles Ahize As The New Bride of Orlu Zone
BY James Igbo...

Patriots all over the world only emerge when a situation gets tough. There is a tough situation in Orlu zone of Imo West, also known as Imo West Senatorial District. The zone has in recent times become an epicenter of preventable crisis. Some otherwise peaceful enclaves have become a bastion of negative resistance. Yet, some persons acting the script of a culpable establishment are presenting themselves to represent the zone. No society prevails with an establishment that deploys power to perpetuate personal interests.
This is why Orlu Zone must look beyond those who are merely representing the interests of the power drunk establishment. Indeed there is a new bride in the zone gracefully seeking to lead the people of Orlu Zone to the Senate.
The new bride also belongs to the party that is positioned to restore the dignity of the Igbo man and the Southeast of Nigeria. Incontrovertibly, the new bride of Orlu politics today is not your usual Nigerian politician with eyes on post-election gains and accoutrements. He is not the archetypal politician with vested interests of expanding his business empire. He is also not the usual politician who only fronts for powerful interests and establishments, while becoming a mere lackey.
Orlu Zone right now needs this new bride in the scene to represent her at the Senate of the Federal Republic. His name is Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize. He is a veteran activist, an industrialist and philanthropist. By all means, he is no perfect human but he has all the qualities needed at this difficult time to recover Orlu Zone.
His manifesto is predicated on the mission to recover Orlu. This recovery plan is envisioned at massively empowering the youths of the zone and making them critical players at the national level. The plan is billed to also restart and retool all the economic zones of Imo West Senatorial District with a view to revitalizing the industrial spirit of the people and placing them on the threshold of prosperity.
The party and the platform of Charles Ahize is pan-Igbo and pan-Nigeria. It is also a new bride in the polity. It is a party practically on a quest of rescuing Nigeria from the straits of social and economic conflagration. It is a party of the masses with a unique mandate. It is a party that has once again reassured Nigerians of a better tomorrow. It is simply a symbol of hope for the common man in Nigeria. It is also a party of the family as it bears the image of a typical Nigerian family. Thus, it is a party with a unique manifesto of restoring the dignity of Nigerian families who are mostly broke and broken.
Dear reader, Labour party is the platform and ship to berth a new Nigeria. Peter Obi is the captain at the presidential level and Charles Ahize, the crew member at the senatorial level. My dear people of Orlu Zone, your vote for Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize is a vote for the total recovery of Orlu from the grip of criminals and political profiteers.
The gentleman activist, Ahize, had in the time past protested against federal establishments through his Obigbo Movement for their anti-Igbo policies. He had risen against injustice meted out to the Igbo race in the time past. He had been on the background of major political developments since 1979. Offering himself to the people of Imo West at this difficult time of the people’s history is, therefore, a rare bid which must be supported by every well-meaning citizen of the zone.
Charles Ahize has the grit and the social and business network to restore and recover Orlu. He has the mental competence and mobility to understand the peculiar political gimmicks at the national level and come out strong and victorious.
He has already drafted bills that would aid his project of recovering Orlu when elected senator. Above all, he has committed to using his salary to rebuild Orlu headlong, since he is not going to the Senate to acquire more material possession. God bless Orlu Zone.
