Imo Assembly Crisis: The Romance of Three Deceitful Hearts
By Christogonus Uneze.
Rt. Hon. Paul Emeziem (the face of a suffering and smiling man), Gov. Hope Uzodimma (the king that decieves his subjects), Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibe (The oily grasshopper that ate its fellow)
When the prince of darkness is on the throne, everything goes wrong.
Rt. Hon. Paul Emeziem’s heart was broken through Hon. Amara Iwuanyanwu (the governor’s war sword) and yet deceitfully been consoled by the man whom his way of life depicts the life of a witchcraft rat that will be biting you and still blow you air on your wound (Gov. Hope Uzodimma).
Uzodimma on his devilish mission to pocket the legislative arm of the government in Imo State has completely destroyed the culture, peace and the good representation that is characteristic of elected members of the state house.
Uzodinma’s utter meddlesomeness in the affairs of the legislative arm of government has seen the emergence of 3 different house speakers within 2 years, even as pundits has stated that more speakers are expected to emerge before the end of the unceremonious government of Hope Uzodimma. Laughable! But very unhealthy to the stability and development of our dear state Imo.
“Uzodimma has turned Imo State House of Assembly Complex to a masquerade dance ground. He has turned the legislative mace into mess and the gavel into a shovel”
In one of my previous posts some months back titled “Imo more divided than Nigeria under Hope Uzodinma”, many skewed minds failed to read meaning to that post, instead some blind and shortsighted agents of the 3R regime tagged it wailing of the wailers in the opposition but today, it has becoming clearer to most of them that Imo State under Uzodimma has become a laughing stock among the comity of states.
Imo people are witnessing the worst days of governance where the only thing that matters is the selfish interest of the governor to protect his office while allowing the state rot. A man who doesn’t have a single trust for himself can never trust any living soul, appearing in the same picture with him is not in any way a sign of peace or love as you can be set up and disgraced the next minute.
Imo has been on the news for wrong reasons since the inception of the 3R government of Uzodimma, from high rate of unemployment to non payment of salaries and pensions, bad roads, youths empowerment programme scam, high level of insecurity and destruction of the state institutions.
By God’s Grace, Imo Must Surely be Rebuilt.
