Imo APC Congress Committee Chairman, Hon. Godwin Anaughe, Commends Gov. Uzodinma’s Achievements
The committee chairman for APC state congress in Imo state, Hon. Godwin Anaughe has lauded governor of Imo state Sen. Hope Uzodinma for his sterling performance in infrastructure, roads and human capital development.
Hon. Anaughe stated this during his remark at the 2026 APC state congress held on Tuesday 3rd March at Ndubuisi Kanu Square Owerri.

Hon. Anaughe
According to him, “Under your leadership, Sir, Imo State has witnessed transformative and steady progress in infrastructure, security, healthcare, agriculture, education, and sports. In particular, I would like to highlight a few outstanding projects that showcase this developmental success: Orlu-Owerri Road, Owerri-Onitsha Road, Owerri-Okigwe Road, Owerri-Umuahia Road, Owerri-Port Harcourt Road, and Orlu-Akokwa Road. Others include the Orlu-Nkwere Road, with all sense of modesty, I want to say, even though it is not lightly said, that Governor Hope Uzodimma has undeniably surpassed the achievements of the great architect of modern Imo State, Late Chief Dr. Samuel Mbakwe. Governor Hope Uzodinma is truly a trailblazer, not just in Imo, but across the nation.

“As chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, he has propelled APC to new heights – 30 Governors strong, an unprecedented feat in Nigeria’s party politics. No wonder our President aptly calls him the Governor-General and engine room of APC, steering us towards 2027 general elections.
“The party recognizes his leadership – a testament to his impact and his appointment as Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. Your Excellency, the Imo State Congress Committee is proud of you; the progressive family is proud of you.
“We’re proud of your achievements in Imo State and Nigeria for the All Progressives Congress. Because of your achievements, APC is stronger and ready for the task of winning the 2027 elections at all levels”, he said.
He also used the opportunity to thank all members, leaders, and stakeholders of Imo State APC for their contributions towards a peaceful and hitch-free ward, LGA and state congresses adding that imo state has witnessed tremendous change under APC leadership at all levels.
