“I Will Empower Many Women, Youths To Be More Resourceful” -Eze Buguma Reiterates …As He Explains Empowerment of 240 Women of Ohaji/Egbema
The APC candidate for Ohaji/Egbema State Constituency in Imo Assembly in 2023 election, High Chief Dr. Uzoma Francis Osuoha (Eze Buguma), has amplified his quality leadership and representation vision for his Constituency while explaining that his reason for empowering about 240 women of the LGA was to assist them to support the well-being of their families.
Speaking in Owerri on Wednesday, Eze Buguma who narrated that his rich humanitarian gesture happened in October 2022 at his native home, Umuagwu, Mgbuishi, added that out of the 240 women who were empowered, 20 of them were indigent women from each of the electoral wards in the local government council.
He noted that the women who were also given food, wrapper, t-shirts, caps and transported went home happily, rejoicing and praising God for using Eze Buguma to put smiles on their gloomy faces, pointing out that the feat he exhibited to the women was rare at the area.
The popular philanthropist and entrepreneur recapped that “as at October last year, I empowered about 240 women of Ohaji/Egbema, 20 of them were indigent women from each of the electoral ward in the area. I gave them food, cash in envelope and transported them back to their various communities. And I promised them that more women will also be richly empowered subsequently”.
Eze Buguma added that he had “in 2022 empowered Ohaji/Egbema women with the sum of about #2 million naira. And since then, I have been empowering the people of Ohaji/Egbema. Even in my community, I was able to put about 40 Solar Lights. Over the years I have been organizing a rich spectacular Football Tournament for the youth to shake off boredom and reduce crime where I spent over #2 million naira yearly”.
The pragmatic, academically sound and generous politician reiterated that if he emerges the representative of the people in the Imo State House of Assembly, he will empower many women and youths to make them more resourceful in order to beat poverty, suffering and crime, hence he solicited their votes in the forthcoming election.

“I have a program where I will create Eze Buguma Trader- Money where the indigent women and the youth will be able to come to as an office, take a loan and return it after six months without interest. I will wipe out the tears of the people of the oil producing areas by attracting democracy dividends to them through good, quality and purpose driven representation”, he affirmed.
However, Eze Buguma pleaded with the electorate in Ohaji/Egbema to use their PVCs wisely to change the narratives by voting him in, harping that he is poised and commuted to lifting the constituency to great height.
