Uche Nwosu Awards Varsity Scholarship To Imo Young Star

The Former Chief of Staff to Ex-Imo governor Rochas Okorocha; Chief Uche Nwosu has out of his rare philanthropic nature awarded a university scholarship to an Imo teenager talented in aeronautics and manufacturing of movable machines stating that such talent ought be harnessed for optimal result in future.
According to Chief Nwosu, he got to know the young star, Master Kenneth Oluebube Akobundu from Umuezeala in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State through the Facebook Social media platform where he exhibited a number of his works and declared interest to meet him.
“Surfing my Facebook recently, I read a post about a young man who is naturally gifted with the knowledge of aeronautics and manufacturing of movable machines. I read further and was excited to know that I share same state with such talent. I requested through my aide to find this young promising boy so I can step in and assist him”

He said the teenager who is naturally gifted expressed strong desires to study Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Technology Owerri but his parents are not financially capable to see him through hence his decision to train him in the university through his leadership organisation- Ugwumba Centre for Leadership Development in Africa to ensure he acquires the best of training and gives back to society.
“I have spoken to the boy and his family, as I encouraged him not to rest on his oars. In the cause of my discussion with him, I got to know that his parents are not financially buoyant to see to their son’s tertiary education. I was moved to be part of their success story. The young man, Kenneth Oluebube Akobundu from Umuezeala in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, expressed his desire to read mechanical engineering at the Federal University of Technology Owerri”
