Group Hails Imo PDP Guber Campaign Council Team …Says Hon. Ugochinyere will deliver

Amidst speculations and insinuations from different political blocs that Imo People Democratic Party (PDP) is going into disintegration, it is good to note that these armchair critics whose postulations are devoid of any empirical or critical analysis are now burying their heads in shame as Imo PDP continues to gather more momentum and heading towards taking over Imo State to make it safe again.

The tempest sweeping across Imo political landscape at present being the appointment of the vibrant and outspoken member representing Ideato Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere Michael as the “Make Imo Safe Again” Gubernatorial Campaign Director General (DG) for PDP in the November 11th, 2023 election in Imo State.

This appointment which has been accepted by Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere was made by the PDP governorship candidate Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu.

Other appointments made by Sen. Anyanwu (Samdaddy) include that of Hon. Ngozi Ogbu Deputy Director General for Okigwe Zone (Imo North Senatorial District) Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo for Orlu Zone (Imo West Senatorial District) and Hon. Chidi Ibe, Owerri Zone. (Imo East Senatorial District). Also appointed is Hon. Marshall Okafor-Anyanwu, Secretary of Imo PDP governorship campaign council of “Make Imo Safe Again”.

The appointments of these tested, trusted and rugged politicians have received commendations across different party inclinations and has also got the blessings of PDP and Imo State critical Stakeholders.

Speaking on the appointments to Newsmen in Owerri, Imo State capital early this week, the Chairman salvage Imo project, Mazi Jude Okafor declared that with this formidable team, the liberation of Imo State from the powers of darkness has begun. Mazi Okafor pointed out that Samdaddy has put round pegs in round holes, as long as his campaign staffing is concerned. He noted that the appointment of Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere as the DG of PDP campaign council is the biggest political catch in this electioneering season.

In an interview, a notable member of salvage Imo project from Owerri zone Chief Ibezim Duru said with the appointment of Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere as the DG of the Sam/Jones campaign council that Gov. Uzodimma has received his quit notice from the government house. He stated that he is of that opinion because according to him “Ikenga does not believe in half measures”. He will deliver, he stated.

In his comments Chief Enyinnaya Igbokwe who is one of the leaders of Imo Stakeholders, expressed happiness with Ikenga alliance with Sam/Jones.

He praised what he called the responsible leadership disposition of the PDP governorship candidate Senator Anyanwu and members of his “Make Imo Safe Again” team for their tenacious efforts at building the required consensus among key political players in the State for the restoration of Imo’s political freedom.

Salvage Imo project, committed to having good governance in Imo State, recalls with pleasure that the make Imo safe again, team led by Senator Anyanwu and his deputy governorship candidate Rt. Hon. Jones Onyeriri was at the office of the Chairman House committee on Petroleum downstream Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere to chart a cause for the progress, security and prosperity of Imo State, They accepted to keep all their difference behind and refocus efforts on reclaiming Imo State from the present APC ruling party that has significantly turned the once peaceful Imo State to a haven of terrorist and Insecurity.
