Group Commend Senator Anyanwu For His Thank You Visit To Imo People
The Salvage Imo project has commended the Imo State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP gubernatorial candidate Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu in the November 11 governorship election for his successful tour of the 27 Local Government Areas in the State.
The Chairman Salvage Imo project, Mazi Jude Okafor made this known during a briefing in Owerri.
Mazi Okafor applauded the show of love of the people of the state who came out in their numbers to welcome Senator Anyanwu and his team.
Mazi Okafor again encouraged PDP supporters and entire people of Imo state to ignore the negative propaganda that distinguished Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu is not vying for governorship of the state.
According to him, the massive turn out of the people of the state who defied the insecurity in the State show their desire to have a change of baton in the person of Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu popularly known as Samdaddy.
Mazi Jude Okafor advised the electorate to join the moving train and follow the right candidate for a better Imo state.
The chairman of Salvage Imo project regretted the untold hardship, the spate of insecurity, arsons going on in all parts of the state.
He maintained that the state has been taken years backward since the inception of the present administration.
Mazi Okafor emphasised on some of the local government areas in the State that has turned to graveyards where social activities have become a mirage and only the few aged persons are seen while the young people have fled for safety to neighbouring states for the fear of unknown.
The leader of the group therefore appreciates those who decamped from other parties to the PDP and assured them of Imo state of their dream through Senator Samuel Anyanwu whose antecedent as a former Local Government chairman, two term House of Assembly member a Senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria and a serving National secretary of the peoples democratic party PDP speak volumes.
He also commended Imo citizens in diaspora for their support in making sure that Senator Anyanwu emerges the next governor of the state come Nov. 11.
