“Grace Saw Me Through Academics”–Promising Graduate, Chisom Thanks God As She Narrates Ordeal
Just as the saying goes that nothing good comes that easy; the pursuant of academic ambitions of people has not been easy over time but some are also said to be rosy than others as regards experience and resources at one’s disposal.

In the foregoing, a vibrant and promising Mass Communication graduate from one of Nigeria’s best Federal Tertiary Institutions, Chisom Ajoku has taken to her social media handle to express how God saw her through her tertiary education amidst daring break off, describing her story as pure work of Grace, “an unmerited favor and blessings for living above bounds”
“I want to take you through the experience I had and I believe you will grab something from it”
“GRACE simply put is undeserved or unmerited favor and the grace of God is a power for living. It is an influence, and there are different dimensions of grace. Read carefully as I narrate my story”
Chisom who expressed worry over the nature and similarities of her academic hurdles from SSCE, JAMB, Aptitude Test to Admission said her case was different most times but always end with a lesson and testimony.
“My first experience dated 2013 when I was looking for admission into school, normally you write your JAMB, write aptitude test and all that but In my case, I have missed two years already in pursuit of admission so I went for Evening programme, still my name did not come out. Matriculation took place; and classes started but I was at home…so I got a suggestion to apply for the weekend programme, I rejected it and said it will happen at the right time. Two weeks to exams my name was out”

“The second one; time to go back for my Higher National Diploma, it happened again that I waited and waited but section has begun already so my Dad told me to go meet someone to help run the admission I went and came back with the bill of eighty thousand so my Dad gave me the money …so I said to myself God please I want to check one more time before sending this money to the man, do me this favor, Chaiii!!! my lovelies’ behold I saw congratulations; I got it”
“Then the last that got me thinking is my JAMB regularization stuff for my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), do you know I applied since January, waited for months and no way. Someone said I should bring hundred thousand for express …I said aaahh, that is much while another said bring fifteen thousand I said I hear, but I prayed and told my friend I will just relax, take my mind off it for it will come when it’s time and now a happy because it came this month(November)”
She thanked God for His Mercies and guidance throughout her tertiary school days in the face of difficulties and dilemma even when it all seemed to be the end of the road.
“So I was thinking why is God always stepping in when an alternative comes in view and I now tell you it is grace, in 2Corinthians 12:9 God talked about his grace being sufficient for us and his power is made perfect in our weakness, also read about 2Corinthians 15:10 and then you will know that who you are and what you have become is of Gods grace”
Chisom advised all and sundry especially students to shun envy and put their absolute trust in God to see them through life and academic challenges as well as celebrating and being happy for peoples success so as to attract their own blessings adding that “Grace is sufficient for all”
“So what level of grace are you operating on so you don’t go about envying others or bad-mouthing them because of the favor they enjoy both with God and man. Work out your grace, work to attain the dimensions. Don’t forget his grace is sufficient for all. Stay blessed”
