Federal Polytechnic Nekede Appoints New Registrar, Bursar
In a significant development at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, the Governing Council has announced the appointment of Mr. Njoku Stanley Ugochukwu as the new Registrar and Mrs. Ojiuko Adanne Chinyere as the new Bursar.

The announcement according to the Special Adviser on Media Matters to the Rector, Noble Zach Uchegbu, was made on Wednesday, 8th January 2025, by the Chairman of the Governing Council, Hon. Henry Ikoh.
Hon. Ikoh commended the new appointees for their exceptional performances during the rigorous selection process, which included a series of tests and interviews.

Stanley Ugochukwu -the New Registrar
Mr. Njoku Stanley Ugochukwu, who previously served as a Deputy Registrar at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and Mrs. Ojiuko Adanne Chinyere, formerly a Chief Accountant at Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, bring with them a wealth of experience in institutional administration and financial management respectively. Their appointments were confirmed in letters dated 8th January 2025, referenced FPN/R/CM/I/VI/131, with their tenures set to commence on 11th January 2025.

Adanna Chinyere -the New Bursar
The Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Mrs. Basilia Nkemdilim Igbokwe, expressed her utmost appreciation for the smooth and transparent selection process overseen by the Governing Council. She congratulated the new officers and emphasized her office’s readiness to work closely with them to further the Polytechnic’s mission of academic and administrative excellence.
Dr. Igbokwe also charged the newly appointed Registrar and Bursar to familiarize themselves with her 11-point agenda, which serves as the blueprint for the transformational leadership she envisions for the institution. She urged them to contribute proactively to the ongoing reforms aimed at positioning the Polytechnic as a center of excellence in technical and vocational education.

The Polytechnic community warmly welcomes Mr. Njoku Stanley Ugochukwu and Mrs. Ojiuko Adanne Chinyere and looks forward to the positive impact of their leadership in their respective offices.
