Governor Ihedioha, Anyaoku are Role Models to Youths, says Engr. Okoro

Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Affairs, Engineer. Rex Okoro, says Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha and the former Commonwealth Nations Secretary- General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, are role models to youths especially those who have been following their secular, intellectual and political activities.
He disclosed this in an interview with our reporter in Owerri, on Thursday, during the 2019 Chief Emeka Anyaoku Lecture Series on Good Governance and Book Presentation, organized by the Imo State Government.
Okoro thus identified Governor Emeka Ihedioha and Chief Emeka Anyaoku as astute politicians and great leaders who have been using their God gifts to affect society positively.

He reflected that due to their hardwork, intellectual abilities, vision, sincerity of purpose and honesty, excellence, prudence and total devotion to God, the duo of Emeka Ihedioha and Emeka Anyaoku have been successful, being sources of inspiration to youths who look up to them as role models”.

Okoro who enjoined youths to imbibe hardwork, virtue, love, patriotism, godliness and sense of duty to be as great as them, stressed that morality and skills should be prioritized by youths in order to help calve a niche for themselves.
Okoro who was among government functionaries who actively participated in the Lecture Series in honor of the erudite diplomat, Emeka Anyaoku, described the event as memorable hence the youths have been copiously inspired to be productive, proficient and assertive to gain success.
He encouraged youths to learn entrepreneurial skills, vocations, indulge effectively in agriculture or farming whether big or small to be economically independent, saying government is currently training youths on agricultural skills for subsequent empowerment.
Dr Reuben Abati and Sen Sani Shehu delivered the lecture with Imo youths and other personages drawn from across board participating.
