GOV. UZODIMMA’S RE-ELECTION: Senator Osita Izunaso, others receive Award of Excellence ||| NEWS CORNER

The IMO PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT, which is an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group in Imo State, has honored Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso with an Awards of Excellence for his massive and impressive support to the 3R Administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Senator Izunaso was represented at the event by a team of Kpakpando Political Family, ably led by the Chief of Staff to the Senator, Sir Mclemmy Uche Nwosu, the DDG Barr. Jude Oduoma and others.

Others honored by the Imo Progressive Movement (IPM), include; Imo State former Governor, Sir Ikedi Ohakim; Chief Chukwuma Ekomaru (SAN), amongst others, for their unflinching support to the re-election of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

In his speech, the IPM National Convener, Rt. Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu, who is the member representing Ohaji Egbema/Oguta/and Oru federal Constituency explained that the ceremony was to appreciate the critical roles played by different people to foster the victory of Gov. Uzodimma at the Polls on November 11, 2023.

“This ceremony, in the simplest introduction and description, is designed and executed to appreciate individuals and organizations in Imo State and beyond, who played prominent and critical roles in the Election and in the inauguration success stories.”

He said, pointing out that the selected Political Actors, Economic Operators, Cultural Players, Religious Reformers, and other Strategic Partners, were identified and selected through Public Opinion Feedback Mechanism; and the process was efficiently devoid of any entrenched social or political prejudice.
