Assa/Obile Ward Councillorship Aspirant, Ifurueze picks forms, promises to restore peace in community

Ahead of the Local Government elections scheduled to hold 21st September, a spirited Councillorship aspirant for Assa/Obile Ward in Ohaji Egbema local government area of Imo state, Hon. Collobus Ifurueze has on Tuesday picked his Nomination and Expression of Interest forms at the State Secretariat of his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Owerri.

Hon. Ifurueze who spoke to journalists shortly after obtaining his forms noted that peace in any community is the bedrock for development of that community, hence, he promised to strive to ensure that peace is restored in his community and town, if elected.

He stressed that his love for his people and his heartbeat for massive development and progress of his community have always been the propelling force for his interest in politics and leadership aspirations.

Hon. Collobus Ifurueze

Ifurueze who is the General Youth President of Assa Autonomous Community declared that he is very much qualified to lead his people in the Councillorship capacity and bring the desired change the entire community clamour for.

The Councillorship aspirant who was a one time House of Assembly aspirant further stated that he in various ways have shown his leadership capacity to his people, and very much willing and prepared to go extra mile for the peace and development of Assa/Obile.

His words ” I am 100% qualified to represent my people of Assa/Obile Ward and I will deliver well. I have shown my leadership capacity 100% as I started my political journey from my own village Idegele as Vice Youth President. My blueprint for my people is to first restore peace in the community which through it development and other goodies can come in place”
