Former SA RUWASSA, Bishop Okereke, Lauds Gov Uzodimma on Onuegbu’s Appointment As Land Commissioner

An erudite scholar, APC stalwart and former Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop, has thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma for appointing Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu as Substantive Commissioner of Lands, Imo State.
Okereke who gave the appreciation in an interaction with newsmen in Owerri on Friday, said the Governor is a visionary leader whose foresight and democratic spirit had redefined governance and hence improved development and economic prosperity in the state.
Okereke who said he was very excited about the Governor’s laudable numerous achievements recorded so far, added that the Governor is so sensible and efficient that he appointed a pragmatic, productive and encyclopedic human, Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu, as Substantive Commissioner of Lands.
He maintained that the sagacious lawyer and prudent politico cannot afford to fail as he has been one of the pillars of APC in Ngor-Okpala LGA, a strong advocate and projector of the 3R administration.
“I, Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop, former SA RUWASSA, appreciate the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, for giving the Ministry of Lands the best brain to head its affairs. This feat is germanely deserving”, he posited.

While describing Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu as a fair politician, a sound lawyer and an illustrious son of Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area, Okereke wished him well.
He said he reposes deep confidence in the Commissioner of Lands who he said is going to exemplify commitment to reposition the Ministry in line with the mandate of the Shared Prosperity Government having rich political, judicial, administrative experiences.
He said, “the two times Chairman, Ngor-Okpala Local Government, long-serving Chief Political Adviser, Head Political Bureau to the Governor, Hon. Enyinna Onuegbu, will make great impact in the Ministry to add to the goodness, peace and development of Imo State”.
Okereke, however, call on the people of Imo State to continue to rally round the Governor to encourage him to improve governance and purposeful leadership for even development of the state.
