Former Chelsea Star Narrates How Mourinho Ill-treated Him

Very little was known about the relationship of former Chelsea boss and player John Obi Mikel.
But the former Chelsea midfielder now narrates how working with Mourinho nearly crashed his dream and completely kill his career in his early days of his career at Stamford Bridge.
John Obi Mikel recalled how he first got sent off in his first game for the Blues because of the speed of the game which took him a while to understand.
It would be recalled that the Super Eagles captain joined the West London outfit in 2006 from Lyn Oslo at the age of 19 after Man United failed to secure his signature because of his impressive performance during the 2005 U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands where he was the tournament’s second best player.

At that time, John Obi Mikel had gotten offers from a number of top European clubs before he opted for the West London outfit and he almost regretted the decision during his early days because of the demands of the manager and the pace of the league.
He recalled how he was naughty and most at times got late to training as well as wear the wrong dress code but he was later put through by the Portuguese manager who will not take any excuse for wrongdoings.
Obi made a move to Asia in January 2017 after spending over 10 seasons at Stamford Bridge.
