The former Barcelona manager who won the premier league with the Citizens last season with record points is fighting to retain the title this campaign with Liverpool its main challengers.

A statement by the club read: “We can confirm that Pep Guardiola has left the club by mutual consent. We want to wish him all the best in his future endeavours. The club is grateful for the impact he made and trophies we won together.
“We will be open to have him back when ever he decides to return to management and there will always be a home here at the Etihad for him.”

According to report, Paris Saint German are already plotting to sign Guardiola as they target winning the UEFA Champions League next season and hope the Spaniard can help deliver that at the Ligue 1 giants.

PSG have contacted the representatives of Guardiola with the possibility of signing for the french side this summer and reports claim that the former Bayern Munich manager is considering a switch to Paris and players like Neymar, Verratti and Mbappe are delighted that there is a chance of working with the manager regarded as the best in the world.
