FEDPONEK: Second Campus, A Crowning Achievement By My Administration –Rector
Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Engr. Dr. M.C. Arimanwa, has said that the acquisition of a second campus by his institution can be likened to a crowning achievement.
He also stated that the reality of the campus is a prophecy foretold, whose accomplishment has brought so much excitement to the institution. He recalled how accreditation teams to the institution had harped on the need to expand the institution to have demonstration farms for those in Agricultural Technology and allied disciplines.
The Rector made these remarks Tuesday at a solemn assembly organized by the institution. He ascribed all glory to God for His grace in recording the landmark achievement of a second campus.
The poly supremo also hinted that a day would be set aside in future when the monumental achievements of his administration would be laid bare to the whole world.

Furthermore, the Rector hinted that the formal handover date of the facility would soon take place amid pomp and pageantry, adding that all the necessary approval letters from the Presidency were in custody of Management.
Importantly, the poly chief enthused the congregation by announcing that the campus virtually has all the facilities needed in a 21st polytechnic such as modern classrooms, administrative building, laboratories and workshops, hostels, clinic, refectory, senior and junior staff quarters of detached and semi-detached duplexes and bungalows as well as blocks of flats. Others are business/social centre, indoor and outdoor sports complexes and ICT building, among others.

The second campus of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede is located at Abaezi, Egbema. It is expected to start running after its handover while formal curriculum activities at the campus take off next academic session.
