Federation of Mbaise Media Professionals congratulate ex-president, Adiuku on emergence as South East NUJ Vice President
The umbrella body of all practising Journalists in Mbaise nation comprising Aboh, Ahiazu and Ezinihitte Mbaise LGAs of lmo State known as Federation of Mbaise Media Professionals (FMMP), has extended its warmest congratulations to its member and immediate past President Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku on his emergence as the Vice President of Zone C (South East).

The release noted that the new NUJ South East VP’s elevation to the position is a testament to his leadership skills and commitment to the union.

The Association described Comr Adiuku as a “round peg in a round hole” whose leadership no doubt will take the zone to greater heights. This is even as the body pledged its support and loyalty to his leadership.lt however, offered prayers for the new leadership, wishing Adiuku all the best in his new role.
The group expressed confidence in Adiuku’s ability to deliver outstanding results and make significant contributions to the union’s growth and success.
Acknowledging Adiuku’s journey to stardom; FMMP noted Adiuku’s journey from Zonal Secretary to Vice President, highlighting his experience and expertise that will benefit the union.
It will be recalled that Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at its Kano State National Executive Council meeting, the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), unanimously returned Adiuku unopposed Vice President South East, having served the union in that position on acting capacity.
Recall that the seat of the Vice President of the Union, Zone C, was declared vacant during the last November 2024 Triennial Delegates Conference held in Owerri, the lmo State capital, where the President of the union and other National officers were elected including Adiuku, who was elected as the Secretary then.
