Eld-el-Fitr: Imo Online Media Practitioners Association Felicitates With Muslims

In the spirit of one Nigeria and prayer for a better and peaceful world, the Imo State Chapter of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) sends felicitations to Muslims across the globe especially Nigerian faithfuls as they celebrate Eld-el-Fitri which marks a successful end of Ramadan fast.

According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Officer of the association, ThankGod Emeh, “Imo OMPAN congratulates the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar 111, Head of Jama’atul Nasril Islam (JNI) and President-General, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), the Chief Imam of Imo State and all Nigerian Muslim Faithful on their successful completion of this year’s Ramadan”

“We wish you all a joyful celebration and pray that all you have fasted and prayed for comes to fruition”

The Imo Online Practitioners urged muslim faithfuls across the country to use the time to reflect on ways to better the society, be their brother’s keeper at all times and always pray for the country as well as the end of Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.

“As you celebrate, Imo OMPAN wish to encourage Muslims all over the world not to relent in prayers for peaceful coexistence in Nigeria as well as prayers for a total end of Covid-19 in the entire world so people can return to their normal lives.”

“With love as one Country and a high level of compliance to the safety measures against COVID-19, we will win the fight and live peacefully”

Imo OMPAN in the goodwill message congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, the Sultan of Sokoto and the President General of Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) on the Sallah occasion while commending them on the safety measures put in place to fight the dreaded novel Coronavirus in the country.

“We appreciate in a very special way President Muhammadu Buhari for restricting homage during this Sallah celebration as well as the Sultan of Sokoto and President General of the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III for suspending Eid congregational prayers to commemorate the Eld-el-Fitri celebration across the country in order to curb the speedy spread of COVID-19 in the Country in relation to the directives of the Presidential Taskforce Committee on COVID-19 against mass gathering”
