Church of Nigeria Honours Ambassador Uju with “Ugo Si Mba” Award

The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Diocese of Orlu, has honoured Ambassador Chika Uju with the prestigious “Ugo Si Mba” title in recognition of her outstanding service to the church and community.
The award presented at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter and John the Divine in Nkwerre on March 15, 2026, according the leadership as well as the Diocesan Women’s Wing of the church noted that the honour is to celebrate Ambassador Chika Uju’s impactful contributions, particularly her support for the women’s ministry and her dedication to advancing church activities.

Church leaders described the “Ugo Si Mba” title as a mark of excellence and appreciation for individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to service and community development.
In her acceptance remarks, Amb. Uju expressed deep gratitude to the church, stating that the recognition would inspire her to continue serving with humility and dedication.
