Eshi thanked persons who donated to the Villages and prayed God to replenish their purses in multiple fold.
Eshi explained that he read the lists at Nnon and Nkwerre Council of Chiefs fora, recently while some Villages who do not have access to these fora sent him hard copies at his Palace.
He stressed that “the Statistics so far shows 70% compliance”, inviting the remaining villages to join the bandwagon.
“Let the needy in our respective villages benefit from the rich in this perilous time”, he pleaded.
He equally called on Imo citizens to comply to government directives in order to save their lives and that of others, advising them to be their brothers keepers at this critical moment of Covid 19 and believing that everything will end in praise.
Eshi who spoke briefly in vernacular added: “Chim gozierem unu nile. Ukwu ojoo a gahu akpo unu. Onye ishi unu n’awa aja, ya were ke ya tinye”
“Covid 19 and indeed any Virus will not consume any of us in the most Powerful Name of Jesus. Amen”.
