Developmental Projects: President Buhari, Finance Minister, Others Commend El-Rufai

President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai for his effort in transforming the physical landscape of the state with executed projects.

The President made the commendation while commissioning various projects across Kaduna metropolis, Kafanchan and Zaria, all executed by the administration of Governor El-Rufai.

Mr. President, who is in Kaduna State, was received in the state on Wednesday evening by the governor with the Honourable Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, amongst other dignitaries from the state in the delegation.

The President commissioned the popular Kawo bridge, many dualized Kaduna metropolis roads, the Murtala Square, and many others in Kafanchan and Zaria.

Mrs. Zainab Ahmed also commended the governor for his foresight and bravery in embarking on such enormous projects in the state.

She praised the governor and his team of ‘brilliant youngsters’. She said: ” We are very well aware of the hard work you have put in into achieving these milestones, and surely posterity will be very kind to all of you”.

She continued, “the dedication of the contractors and all the people of Kaduna State who supported these projects is worthy of special commendation.”

“As an indigene of Kaduna myself, I am proud of what I have seen and I hope these projects and vision will remain so” she added. “Kaduna State has become a new city, and an indigene who has not visited for long will surely miss his way.”
