COPDEM FC Imo chapter
Addressing the team and participants after the march, the CEO Amb Sleek Ukoha expressed her joy over the successful launch of the Football Club in Imo state describing it as a great milestone achieved in the state.
“I stand before you today wearing two hats: one as your State Chairperson, and the other as the National CEO of COPDEM Football Club. This dual responsibility gives me a unique vantage point. While my heart is here in Imo, my vision is fixed on the entire map of Nigeria.
“COPDEM FC was not conceived to be a local Club; it was designed to be a National Institution.

“Today, we celebrate a milestone in our strategic rollout. Having successfully established our presence in Kano and Ekiti States, we are here today to officially activate the Imo State Chapter—the third, but arguably the most vibrant, pillar in our national foundation”, Amb Ukoha noted.
She advised the team to embrace professionalism and integrity in their football adventure.
“To the Imo squad: Because I am from here, the eyes of the nation are on you. You are the “CEO’s Home Team.” You must set the pace for Kano, for Ekiti, and for the states that are yet to come. You must embody the discipline, professionalism and excellence that our brand stands for.
” Today, the light of COPDEM FC shines on Imo. And we will not stop until this light touches all 36 states and the FCT” she stated.
Also the Football Club Manager, Comrade Edoziem Nobleiyke promised to produce a team that would make it to international standard.
” the promise I’m giving to Imo people is that sooner than later we’ll have a very wonderful team in COPDEM FC that would go places.
“Any of them that want to move forward and do something good, we will send them for trial and I believe that they will all make their way to any international and national clubs”, he stated.
The COPDEM FC coach, Mr Chika Okpara said the Football Club members are qualified and good to go; adding that they tried to build a good team that would represent the country any time and any day.
The event was honoured by members of COPDEM Imo State from the 27 local government areas and 305 wards of Imo state.”
