Concerned Imolite, philanthropist, Collins Osuagwu, Receives Good Governance, Social Justice Award
A development-driven, visionary politician and astute businessman, Dr. Collins C. Osuagwu, has been honored with “Good Governance and Social Justice” Award by the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Imo State.
The Award of Honor and Excellence was bestowed on Chief Collins Osuagwu by the party on Saturday during its Carol of Nine Lessons/End of the Year Party Ceremony and Award Recognitions, held at its Secretariat Owerri on Saturday with over 5000 members, supporters and invitees gracing the ceremony.
Presenting the Award to the recipient, Chairman of SDP, Imo State, Amb. Eluwa Ifeanyi Henry, noted that the Honor was meritoriously bestowed on Dr. Collins Osuagwu because of his great selfless service to humanity, philanthropy, political maturity, peace advocacy and capacity building in the state and beyond.
“Chief Collins Osuagwu PhD deserves the Award of Good Governance and Social Justice by SDP. The party values his immense financial help to Imolites and other social works he renders even unnoticed to his community and the society at large. We pray that he soars higher in all his endeavors, as well as being divinely fortified as he does humanitarian services to the people”, Eluwa added.

Responding, Dr. Collins Osuagwu, appreciated the SDP for the accolade and expressed delight and gratitude to God for His strength, goodness.
Osuagwu, who is the Founder of Collins Osuagwu Foundation, a humanitarian outfit, designed to extend charity and assistance to humanity particularly the less-privileged and the vulnerable, said the Award would motivate him more to push humanitarianism.
“I’m very much delighted of the deserving Award of Honor on me by the SDP. I glorify God for His strength and grace that enabled me to be honored and distinguished. I heartily appreciate them. The recognition will spur me to more philanthropy. My passion to assist people to carve a niche for themselves as to beat poverty and vulnerability, the development of Imo State and sustainable peace and conviviality is a source of joy and cannot be overstressed”, Osuagwu stated.
However, Chief Collins Osuagwu, was the Imo State Governorship Candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the last election who has equally fared well in business, well educated, a community service frick, youth friendly, a visionary leader and pragmatic politician.
