Breaking: Dr. Igbokwe Restores Electricity in FEDPOLYNEK SBMT Amid Cheers

The news of the successfully restored electricity in the School of Business and Management Technology (SBMT) of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri by the Rector, Dr. Mrs Basilia Igbokwe after so many years of blackouts, which adversely affected the smooth academic learning within the period, cannot be overemphasized as the development hit the SBMT staff and students with cheers and mixed feelings.
Reacting, Dr. Maxwell Ugiagbe, Dean, School of Business and Management Technology extolled the leadership of the Rector, Dr. Mrs. Basilia Nkemdirim Igbokwe for responding to the School’s long-time yearnings in less than 100 days in office, adding that the restoration of electricity will greatly enhance teaching, learning, and administrative activities, as well as creating a more conducive environment for academic excellence.

Dr. Ugiagbe also commended the dogged Rector for breaking ground with transformational leadership in all facets of the Polytechnic as he reiterated the Rector’s dedication to improving the welfare of the faculty/school and the overall academic environment.

The Dean of the School of Business and Management (SBMT) however encouraged everyone to take advantage of the improved situation to achieve their collective goals.
Speaking on the milestone, the Rector thanked God Almighty for the successes recorded and called for prayers for divine enablement while urging every member of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Community to remain vigilant, diligent, focused, and steadfast, noting that “the journey ahead is more tasking, demanding, and technically overwhelming”
