Bill Gates Unveils New Book on COVID, Shares Tips on Winning the Fight

American business magnate, and philanthropist, Bill Gates has disclosed lessons he learned from COVID in the past two years, the innovations and new tools the world needs to save lives in a new book.

Bill Gate made the announcement in a note tagged “My new pandemic book is coming soon” and shared with ‘Gate Insiders’ as well as gatenotes website on 8th February 2022.  

Unveiling the new book, Gate said he has learned a lot in the process about the COVID-19 pandemic and ways to stop the next one.

“I’ve spent the last two years working with my colleagues at the Gates Foundation and our partners to stop COVID-19. I’ve learned a lot in the process—both about this pandemic and how we stop the next one—and now I want to share what I’ve heard”

“So, I’ve written a book about how we can make sure that no one suffers through the misery of the last two years ever again”

How to Prevent the Next Pandemic

“It’s called How to Prevent the Next Pandemic, and it includes a step-by-step plan to make COVID-19 the last pandemic, including the lessons we can learn from COVID, the innovations we need to save lives, and the new tools we need to stop pathogens early and equitably. I hope you’ll read it when it comes out in May”

Noting how the Pandemic took everyone as well as the systems of the world by surprise, he added that the only way to avoid and check future pandemics making the right investments in all sectors of concern. 

“The world isn’t ready for the next pandemic—but we can be if we make the right choices and investments.
