Arodiogbu Describes Arondizuogu As Home of Culture In Igbo Enclave …Calls For Maintenance Of Igbo Cultures

The people of South East have been called upon to always preserve their culture left for them by their forefathers with a view to strengthening orderliness, peace, sociability and economic prosperity in the enclave.

This was stated by the South East APC National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, while speaking on TV News Program, “Focus On South East Politics”, recently.

Arodiogbu who said the Igbo have a lot of cultures that promote goodness, unity, peace and sociability, added that when these cultures are fairly upheld and practised by the people togetherness, peace, conviviality and progress would be absolutely enhanced.

He remarked that many nations who have advanced socially and economically do not jettison their cultures and traditions, knowing their values, gains and advantages, urging the people of South East to continue to demonstrate to the world entirely that the Igbo cultural values are alive by observing them effectively.

The responsible indigene of Arondizuogu in Ideato North LGA of Imo State and renowned medic who frowned at how cultures and traditions of Igbo are being neglected and thrown overboard by indigenes who he added should uphold them, advised parents to always speak Igbo language to their children anywhere they find themselves to enable them get along.

“I greatly support upholding Igbo cultures and traditions because I’m proud to be an Igbo. I love Igbo language. Yes, my children speak Igbo language fluently. I believe in culture. I come from Arondizuogu – a home of culture and tradition and I hope that our cultural heritages are preserved. There are a lot of values, gains and advantages attached to culture and tradition.

“Igbo race will advance socially, economically and otherwise when its citizens fully embrace their cultures of unity, language, love, peace, orderliness, conviviality, productivity, farming and resourcefulness. God blessed us with many good things and hence I call on Igbo offsprings to shun antagonism and vile to be able to harness these potentials to our own good and benefit”, Arodiogbu emphasized.
